News: Reality-challenged person spams people asking for time-travel equipment

Robert “Robby” Todin of Woburn, Massachusetts has been identified as the source of the time-travel spam particles that affect all worlds of the Alpha quadrant. Mr.Todin is a reality challenged individual, just like the many Star Trek loving geeks he’s been spamming asking if they could help set right his abusive past by selling him some time travel equipment. Among other things, he has requested that any “secret alien time travellers” sell him an “Acme 5X24 series time transducing capacitor with built-in temporal displacement” and an “AMD Dimensional Warp Generator module containing the GRC79 induction motor.” He was willing to offer a suitable sum in Galactic credits for this purchase. Robby was tracked down by alert geek Dave Hill, who appears to be the only person on the planet who reads his spam. Dave set up an online store-front to attract Robby’s attention. When Robby visited the site, Dave tracked the tachyon particle trail back to its origin.
Starfleet was unavailable for comment, though the USS Enterprise is known to have dissappeared into thin vacuum in this quadrant several years ago. It is rumored by certain conspiracy theorists that the vessel went through a Trans-Dimensional borgyon emission which resulted in it being transformed into a TV show. The show is rumored to be used by the local government to control weak minds.
