And wake up and smell the freedom. A moment so reminiscent of Paarathi’s “Puthiya Bharatham” (”New India”), a farewell to the weak spine, the downcast eyes, the crossed arms of the old India and a welcoming celebration of of the new - with it’s eyes full of dreams and chest puffed up with pride. The Iraqi’s are getting a taste of that stuff today.

Silence descended on Salam’s blog on the 24th of March. Wake up. And smell the freedom.
