Crisis Passes Over

The QMC staff and students have obtained a stay order preventing the government from demolishing their college. The stay order was obtained by approaching a High Court Judge at home. While this is fine as an informal set-up, I fail to see why a more formal arrangement is not made for emergency hearings during weekends.
Personally, my main objection to the proposed demolition is the way it has been done- Friday afternoon press releases, sudden closure of hostels, indefinite postponement of tests etc., which show a total lack of respect for the students and staff of the institution.
